Biography
| I started drawing when I was eight years old. I started drawing in the "anime" style (as some call it) when I turned 13 and got my first Nintendo system. I was fascinated by how simple the art was in the Zelda instructional manual but how pretty it was, so I became determined to imitate it. Then I started drawing from the Mario manual.. and the Final Fantasy One character sprites.. trying to imitate what they would look like on paper.. until finally one day some kids from the art school I was attending at the time introduced me to Ninja High School and Ranma 1/2 and I fell in love with the style. Since then the Eastern side of the worlds art that I became obsessed with has had tremendous impact on my style and my desire to draw. In High School I joined Mr. John Hauser in an effort to help lay the foundation for students interested in art and animation by becoming an assitant teacher for a short time and helping create "How to Draw and Animate" work books for Eagle Animation Students. Since then I have been working part time at Universal Studios Florida and part time touring various conventions and selling my art. I hope to one day be able to support myself fully on JUST my art because drawing is my true passion in life. |
